Large Oil Spill

Port Republic Road

 
Apparatus: Squad 33, HAZMAT 900, & Ambulance 47
 
Squad 33 was returning from a Firefighter 2 class when Station 41 was dispacthed for a large oil spill on Port Republic Road just outside of Harrisonburg city limits. Squad 33 was in the area and responded. Once on location crews found several gallons of oil that had been spilled in the roadway. Squad 33 assisted in road closure and cleanup operations.
